How much do you pay to see a movie or rent a video? How many hours of enjoyment do you get out of that?
IMHO, for US$30 you will get at least 20 hours of playing enjoyment out of Warfare Inc. So at worst, you are talking about $1.50 per hour of entertainment, or less if you play it longer!
You also get the pleasure of playing it at your convenience anywhere you happen to be carrying your PDA. Even in bed at 3am and waking up your wife!
For everyone expecting a top line PC strategy game with oodles of replayability and extensability and units and terrain etc ... you aren't going to get it. This is a game for a PDA with limited processor, limited RAM, limited everything.
However it is BY FAR the best game that has ever been released for a PDA.
If you have any hesitation about buying this game, then for the price this is, you are crazy. It is a fantastic game and you are doing a dis-service to yourself and a dis-service to the game development community if you don't buy it!
Regards,
JC
This was originally in reply to someones post, but I felt it needed to be said in its own topic because people keep referring to this games limitations. |

I completely agree, this game is definately worth every penny asked, there is nothing else which comes close to this game. _________________ David Trotz

Second that!
I used to like World War (although obviously not for the graphics ), but this just blows everything away!
My wife and I are avid Starcraft players. Maybe I should buy her a Tungsten (she has a Treo), so we can multiplay over Bluetooth when the option comes... |

I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this game. I do not hold PDA games to the same standards as PC/Console games, so I tend to get antsy when the price goes above $20. In any case, I decided to download the demo and give it a run. Even though this game lacks certain features found in more modern games (cut scene movies, surround sound), it still has the general elements that make the other RTS games so popular. Granted, there is room for improvement on this series, and I hope Handmark will keep up with it. I cannot wait to see what they will put in the sequel. _________________ Give a person a fish, and they'll eat for a day. Teach a person to use the Internet, and they'll leave you alone for weeks. |

This is definately an awesome game. I have replaced Age of Empires and Argentum with Warfare and have not looked back. My kids love it, too! Congrats to Handmark for this superb game! _________________ Dell Axim Advanced with PPC 2K2

I've just started playing Argentum.
Way better graphics. More levels. Map maker. And only $9.95 _________________ Owner of RevolutionHosting.net - Owner of SG-City.com |
