Do you usually play at the slowest speed (0.12x), at default speed (1.0x), at about 1/4 speed (2.0x), at about 1/2 speed (4.0x) 3/4 speed (6.0x) or full speed (8.0x)? I play at full speed, because at the slowest or default speeds, the units look like they're in no hurry to get anywhere. At 1/2 speed or 3/4 speeds, it seems more lifelike/normal. However, at full speed, things get done in a hurry! Unfortunately, battles are over very quickly.

I use 1.6x normally. This is because I HOST on the web and that speed works the best for different reasons.

Well, I figure that once processed, Galaxite develops a peculiar property: everything that comes anywhere near it gets a speed/productivity decrease! This includes all vehicles, people, and buildings. The speed control on my WI has to be set higher-up than usual, so they wouldn't appear to be too slow, but not to the max, or they would appear as a blur. The Galaxite also slows down ageing. Therefore, the people tend to live longer! Vehicles and buildings also last longer (given normal use).
Long explanation for GE (the Galaxite Effect)
