|
|
Hi, I've been trying to use the editor for a few days, and I've noticed that it is really hard to work with the terrain. There needs to be more types of cliffs, because without variety, the users will be able to tell. More types of other things would be cool too, like the doodads in starcraft. _________________ [WI Moderator]

I have also noticed that some of the pieces do not line up correctly.
For example parts of the river
This might need looking into for a 'fully released' version of the editor. _________________ Wizard

Amen to that.
Also, a few more options regarding galaxite... A field where we can input the amount of galaxite in a square would be much appreciated _________________ [WI Moderator]

I wonder if they will give us a point release update soon to fix some of the issues we have mentioned.? _________________ Wizard

Don't worry, this is a beta, and so you have to realize there will be things still wrong with it (one thing I notice is that it responds slow...), and that they will release more updated betas for us to test to make sure it is working good.
Some suggestions that I have is make it a little more user friendly. If you have ever played Starcraft or Command and Conquer Red Alert, you'll notice that those are pretty easy to use, as well as repsond fast. One thing that I liked about those was when you selected a piece you want to use (such as a mountain side or something), you don't have to drag and drop it every time. You can select it and hold the mouse button down and just drap along the screen and see the mountain appear where ever you drag the mouse. I liked how that woked, and would like something to that extent, so you don't have to keep dragging and droppping... _________________ Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE
