Anyone have tips on how to approach either ACME or OMNI? I can't get past the doubling up!

- Get about 4-5 bullocks out there collecting minerals
- You need to secure 3 choke points:
(a) the galaxite area directly up north of your base
(b) the river crossing area on the left hand side of your base
(c) the area just beyond the river crossing on the right hand side of your base

I secure (b) with lots of infantries - blue force sends in infantries and a occasional tank or 2

Secure (a) and (c) with your heavy armor. Put more forces at (a) as you will need to defend against blue on the left of (a) and red coming down from right of (a) - however, the security force at (b) can be moved up to help with (a) right flank after it takes care of the ambush.

Blue force will build a galaxite processor at the northern tip of (a) early in the game: get rid of it and that silly little bullock collecting minerals.

When you have relatively good control of (a), build a new galaxite processor in the middle of (a) to speed up collection of minerals. Build some turrets to help with the defence that slips through the right and left flank of your force at (a).

Once you have complete control of (a), i.e. no red or blue bullocks can wonder in to scrap for minerals - you will strangle blue / red force totally.

At your leisure, you can elect to kick blue force or red force - the order doesn't matter. The easier route is to move your forces through Red's choke point at the north-eastern side of (a), sweep through Red's base and terminate their factories.

Personally, I'd prefer taking over their factories, pump out a few units (if i haven't maxed out by then), and then selling the facilities for $.

Blue force's destruction is simply an inevitability.

Good luck[/quote]

ok first get your bullpup mining then just build up 2 of the hydra liberater and cyclops tanks, then as soon as you can send them left and attack the blues left hqnd side. this part is ironicly the space nearest the blue hq yet it is the part least gaurded. then after that attack send 10 of the recruits directly up north to where all the galaxite is. and if you want to stop the proccessor to not build at all for he ue just send a unit up there early in the game. after blues base is destroyed, just take a dominion( or you could just save the hq to capture it) and build a vts and send 4 of the liberator and hydra tanks along with 2 cyclops and tqke out the left flank of the red. oh sorry for not saying this but some time in the game the red will send units to attack your hq's right side so protect that side well. then just take out the power for red and the mission will be much easier from there. beware there are several liberators along with rocket troopers among the red base. I can see why it was removed, but with a little more security, it would be awesome to have back
