As of last night, you can only use the /anon command once per match creation. Once you have issued /anon once, you will not be able to do so again in that match session. You will have to recreate your match or create another match to use /anon again. Rapidly cancelling and recreating games will get you warned and kicked.
A new command has released, which is /swap. More information can be found on the /swap command topic. Please keep comments and opinions about the /swap command in that topic. _________________ Warfare Incorporated Former Head of Administration || Steam username: WINate |

I think unblocking anons should be implemented again. Here's an example why:
Player1 wants to play a game and get points. Theres 7 anons in the room and 3 registered (not including player1). Player1 makes a game which requires 4 players. 3 anons join. Player1 wants at least 1 registered player in the game so it counts for the leaderboard. So he uses the /anon command. Now, 2 of the 3 registered players join the game. The 3rd registered player doesn't join (it doesn't really matter why -- maybe he doesn't wanna play or maybe he's afk). There are no other registered players in the room, so now player1 (and the other two players) have to wait a long time for a registered player to join so they can start the game.
Now think about it, if player1 could unblock anons, he could unblock them so one of the anons could join. Thus, having enough players to start the game.
I know that when people could unblock anons in the past, they abused it (by unblocking and blocking over and over, and some other stuff). So what do you think about this idea: registered users could use /anon one time to block anons from their game, and they could use it one more time to unblock anons from their game. This would allow players to block anons which would give time for registered players to join, but then unblock anons when not enough registered players join (or are available or join) to start the game, and people don't want to wait 10 minutes for the 4th registered to join to start the game. But after that, they could not block (or unblock) anons again in that game, which would eliminate anon abuse (I don't see how it could be abused if people can only block once and then unblock once). _________________ Warfare Incorporated Development |
