Nice mission, I'm stuck after I capture the HQ and find it extremely difficult to survive the onlslot. I've had the longest luck by creating a power plant barricade and using towers to defend, but usually one of my agressive Andy's sits in a spot and gets picked off. I've nearly run out of captured credits also.

Hi there,
That onslaught is nothing compared to the one you'll be expecting after you wipe them out!
Follow the direction below for tips.
After you capture the HQ
-Go and capture the Warehouse for those much needed credits.
-Do Not Destroy all of the enemies power plant yet. If you do so, your HQ will be a sitting duck. Instead, use all the Andy to destroy the inner parts of the Power Generator. Leave the parameter untouch as the enemy will not destroy them. This will only create a bottle neck for the enemy to enter your HQ. DO NOT CREATE ANY BUILDINGS beyond the perimeter wall as this will instead give rise to a group of killer spawn infront.
What to do next?
-Create a Power Generator at the bottle neck area. This will block it abit and quickly Up your Rocket towers (after you made a Surveillance Center) . 8 towers (PAIR OF 4s) is more than enough. Why you need to place them that way is due to if one tower gets blown, there will be another tower behind it to block Andys from running out and getting killed. Replace your blown Tower quickly. Remember this...your power generator will be there so you dun have to create so many Rocket Towers. Fill the rear of the towers with Andys. Usually, enemy will come from One side only.
-Now, since you have created an empty space after destroying the inner side of the enemy Power Gen. Go and create an R&D and VTS. Create ONLY 4~5Cyclops. Why Cyclops instead of that tank buster? SInce your HQ is now surrounded by power generators. You'll need the cyclops killing range. If you are really brave. Forgot the VTS and rely on the Rocket Towers only.
-By now the enemy has reached your area. Brace yourself for the onslaught. Only concentrate on the Tower area. The enemy has no other way to penetrate. If a Tower gets damage...repair it once and standby a new one above it. Remember to check the status of Andy behind.
Usually, injured Andys will rotate automatically after a few shots.
One thing you should watchout for is your towers. Since you arrange it in pairs, if two towers are blown, Andys will start coming out of the perimeter and will be killed easily.
-Create some Gattling guns to kill Foxs when he comes. I know that creating any buildings out of the perimeter will trigger a killer spawn. But if you have prepared enough towers to handle them, should be no problem .
-Since you have a VTS ready, start creating your army now.
hehe...thats the easy part, You'll need a Mining station for extra credits but be careful, a surprise awaits the miners. A few Andys are needed to escort them. I will not mention what will happen next . But to end the mother of all battle in Mission X...need Towers and lots of them.

I found an alternate way to win this. Before you capture the enemy HQ & Warehouse. Go around to the east side and blast a path through the generators. Then send your Andy's East through the generator field and then south to a chok point and have them stand by. Have your raiders make the capture of the HQ and warehouse and build a VTS & or HRC and when your Andy's have a break build and send the units out through the path you created going East through the generator field. They can then be sent south to renforce your Andys at the choke point. As long as you never send a unit through the main enterance the Spawn will not start. Your Andy's need to be monitored and rotated at the choke point as the agressive Andy's will stay and fight untl they are killed. When the onslot from the East is stopped you will win. Has anyone figured out what the three pads do, they seemed to have no effect on the game.

Hi there again, those pads are actually spawning points for the enemy. I forgot to mention in the dialog between the boss and andy.
I'll be updating the MissionX with more dialog and objectives. But the game will remain the same. I'm really just getting use to the functions in the mission editor.
For those who hoped for a 'self repair' functions for the enemy towers. I dun thnk I'm gonna do it. The basic game is hard enough and I dun wanna make this into a mission impossible thinggy.
Anyway, if anyone wan to have more killing fun and insist on activating the killer spawn (infront of the choking point). Do it so after you have created your towers and before the onslaught from the east. That means, you have to do it early. Creating that killer spawn during the massive onslaught will break your up.
I'm creating a new mission for Andy so watch this space by next week.
