i just want to know what a switch does and how you make one work cuz i cant

Load up one of the single player maps that are included with the author kit into the mission editor, and check out how the switches are used.

OK thanks that helps a lot in a new mission im creating its called a new species if you want to try it but its still in testing for now

A new Species BETA is out and it has a built in game clock that i made using persistent variables
