The AI of the map editor is hard to work with. there should be a way to simply select the aggression of the AI and it will automatically attack back.

that is very complicated for the game developers to do, so they left it up to the individual maps

That might make it easier to create skirmish games, but wouldn't it limit the control the level developer has on the progress in other kinds of missions?

An option in the editor whether to have it on or off would be ideal.

I thought that the AI for sides had four settings: Human, Computer, Computer Overmind, and Computer Neutral, with Computer the default. Also, each unit has different settings of aggression, the default being Defender.

Or are you talking about something else?

Yes, thatís wheat I mean, I think it would be a good idea for you to simply make your own map and the computer would set everything else up for a quick and easy game. Of course, the way it is now allows for greater control of what happens in the game.
