I'm trying to update to 1.1, and it won't do it. It always installs 1.0. I remove it from activesync, and my Pocket PC and it won't upgrade. It doesn't even ask for my registration key. Can anyone help? _________________ hp iPAQ 1935 owner

Let me make sure I understand: You tap on Remove Program from ActiveSync and let it do that, then install the new v1.1, but you still get v1.0? _________________ Warfare Incorporated Development Team |

Yes. I did it through activesync, then through remove programs, and even deleted my whole Warefare folder (saves). When I do install it, it doesn't ask for my keycode. Is there something in my registry? _________________ hp iPAQ 1935 owner

There are no registry issues. I guess the first thing I'd suggest is to re-download v1.1 and make sure you execute that version, and that you have no v1.0 installers laying around that you might execute by mistake.
If it still doesn't work, go into:
\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync
and delete the Warfare Incorporated folder.
Remove the program from your PocketPC. Preferably hard-reboot your device to wipe it (just to make sure we're starting from a clean slate)
Then install v1.1. _________________ Warfare Incorporated Development Team |

...Hard reset... is there anyway around that? I'd lose a ton of stuff... _________________ hp iPAQ 1935 owner

I am having the same problem, but I don't want to invalidate my key to upgrade. When upgrading, it still says 1.0, and I can't load the add-on missions. (I am assuming that they are NOT the same as the challenge missions) Is there a way to do this that does NOT invalidate my key? |

cobra, if you bought v1.0 online, then upgrading to v1.1 won't invalidate your key. If you bought retail (at a store), then if you upgrade to v1.1 online, you'll need a new key, but it is easy to do if so.
You need v1.1 to see the new missions.
If you still have problems upgrading, post back here. _________________ Warfare Incorporated Development Team |

I DID buy it in a store. Now what do I do? I did send in a rebate though, so does that mean you have a record of my purchase? |

We are working to find a solution that will work more cleanly for users who purchased the product from a retail store. In the mean time, please direct any questions you have through our knowledgbase at http://www.handmark.com/support. That will help us handle the problem most efficiently and collect information from the interaction that we can share with other users.
Thanks,

FYI, that URL is www.handmark.com/support
The post above has a period at the end of the URL that prevents you from getting to the proper place.
Cheers
