|

Anyone know why we're suppose to post maps as sticky in mission sharing? I read it's so they get sorted to the top. But maps are really the only things posts in mission sharing so if none were sticky, they'd still be sorted to the top. Just curious... _________________ Warfare Incorporated Development |

I'm not sure of the reasoning behind it, but perhaps it's so that people can still post maps in a relevant forum without the pack showing up in-game. _________________ You've just been |

It allows for a "basement" of bad maps. For instance, if a map is quarantined, doesn't work, the topic doesn't have a mission pack attached, etc, it should not be stickied. This can also apply to maps that are still in testing. All maps posted in the Mission Sharing forum, whether stickied or not, will sync with the server. However, we don't want these bad maps and topics cluttering all the decent maps in the forum. At the same time, we don't want the good maps mixed in with the bad ones, so we require them to be stickied. _________________ Warfare Incorporated Former Head of Administration || Steam username: WINate |
